Waffle the Wonder Dog

Oh boy, where to start with Waffle. Oh, Waffle. The theme song everyone loves to hate, the perfect blended family with Outnumbered-cute kids, relatably stressed parents, the talking animal... It’s almost like someone’s taken that software that’s been used to computer-generate smash hit pop singles, and tweaked it to write and cast a kids’ TV programme instead. I still really can’t decide if I love it or hate it. It just tugs at all the right emotional heartstrings, whilst infuriating to the core. And the BBC bloody know it. Oh, Waffle! Oh, CBeebies! — David
