Tip the Mouse

Show in which the eponymous Tip, a young mouse, explores the ramifications of something akin to Stockholm Syndrome, forever trapped in a manipulative family situation where the doting love he shows to his parents is never genuinely reciprocated. Instead his evil family collude to excise even the vaguest element of enjoyment from this life whilst instead engineering endless nefarious situations to teach Tip object lessons and reinforce his place right at the bottom of the family pecking order and wider food chain. Ultimately charming enough animation ruined by the storylines that try hard to be worthy but end up being saccharine preachy. By the time you’ve seen the same episode (or is it? – they all seem the same) three times in one day, you’ll be getting the rusty pins out, believe me. — David
