Chuggington

Once a poor imitation of Thomas and Friends (and quite closely related production-wise), Chuggington is, it pains me to admit, actually not that bad. Well at least as far as children’s programmes featuring talking trains in situations that Health and Safety would go apoplectic over are concerned, in any case. At least there is some variation in the plot-lines, which are not completely formulaic, and it undoubtedly includes that essential element in anything for children, let alone any parents who might watch with their children: fun, as systemically and surgically excised from its mouldy languishing half-sibling since Ringo’s departure. — David
