Boj

If you know your Flash animation, the chances are it'll be the first thing that strikes you about Boj. The thick-lined characters look like they were drawn up in 1998 – I'm informed by a reliable source that this throwback is entirely deliberate, and certainly it would fit with the theme of 'make and do and mend' that pervades the tale of this resourceful bilby (so now you know) and his laid-back family. What's nice about the show is its tendency to celebrate difference and embrace it, and the less tolerant among us could learn a few lessons from all the inclusivity. Notable for being a vehicle for former pop sensation / Neighbours star / tabloid headline Jason Donovan, who voices Boj's dad as well as singing the theme song. — James
